Oliver Giroud is set to join French champions Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on a permanent basis after his move from Manchester United was completed.
The Gunners have reportedly been linked with a move for the 27-year-old, who has scored 14 goals in 36 appearances for PSG this season and also played for France at international level.
Reports of the move have come as a shock, with Giroud previously being linked with a move to Chelsea but he is now set to make a permanent switch to Paris.
Giroud has been a key player for PSG over the last two seasons, scoring 19 goals in all competitions and helping the club win the Champions League twice.
