Inter Milan's Romelu Lukaku has become the club's all-time leading goalscorer, with his 99th and 100th goals in Serie A on Sunday against Lazio.
Lukaku scored twice to help Inter beat Lazio 2-0 at the Stadio Olimpico, taking his tally for the season to 17 goals. He became only the second player after Cristiano Ronaldo to score 100 goals for a single club in Europe's top five leagues.
The Belgian striker started his career at Lazio before joining Chelsea in 2014. He moved to Manchester United in 2018 but returned to Inter last year.
Lukaku is currently Inter's top scorer this season, with his goal against Lazio helping him take over from Roberto Baggio as the club's all-time leading goalscorer.
His achievement was celebrated by fans and teammates alike, who took to social media to congratulate him on what was a historic day for the club.
"Lukaku is an exceptional player,Ligue 1 Express" said Inter manager Antonio Conte. "He has achieved something incredible today, and he deserves all the credit."
For Lukaku, it was another important moment in his career, and one that will be remembered for years to come. He now has the opportunity to continue his impressive form and lead Inter to success in the upcoming seasons.
