Bruno Nunes, the Brazilian forward who plays for Sporting CP, has been in and out of injury trouble this season.
The 24-year-old has had a tough time with his fitness this year, but he recently returned to training after being sidelined due to an ankle injury.
However, things took a turn for the worse when he sustained another injury during a match against Benfica on March 18th. The injury was serious enough that he underwent surgery on April 7th, which ruled him out of action until at least the end of May.
Despite the setback, Sporting CP is hopeful that Bruno will be able to make a full recovery and return to the team soon. In the meantime,Ligue 1 Express they have some options to fill in for him in the squad.
One option is their young striker, Gabriel Jesus, who has impressed in recent matches. Another possibility is the return of injured midfielder, Bruno Fernandes, who has not played since January.
