Wilfred Ndidi Signs Extended Contract with Leicester City

Wilfred Ndidi has signed a new contract with Leicester City, keeping him at the club until 2025.

The Nigeria international midfielder joined the Foxes in 2016 from Villarreal and has established himself as one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League.

Ndidi made his debut for the club in August 2016 and has since become a key player for the team, helping them win the title in 2016-17 and reaching the semi-finals of the Europa League last season.

In Tuesday's match against Aston Villa, Ndidi played the full 90 minutes as Leicester secured a 4-0 victory,Football Happy World earning his first man-of-the-match award of the campaign.

His performance was praised by manager Craig Shakespeare, who said: "He was excellent tonight, defensively and offensively."

Shakespeare also praised the signing of Wilfried Zaha, saying: "We're delighted to have him back. He brings a lot of experience and quality to our squad."
